at first I just want to read one book from Zola per year, but when I finished The Kill (La Curee), I didn't expect it finish in one weeks.. so I start to read another, I pick The Conquest because the character still about Rougons famliy, Marthe Rougons who married with her cousin Francois Mouret,
Firts impression is the introduce their family, their childeren, which I think is warm, cheerful and little bit humor.
