Status Updates From The Goblin General

Uh oh- this story is fabulous in the early pages! I don't have time this weekend for a fabulous story!!

Feels very matter of fact and a bit disjointed for it, hard to get lose yourself in the story.

So boring. Just read a brief flash of action, told after it happened. About a paragraph and a half. then back to knitting and crochet. I do knit and crochet but it is boring as hell to read about

Very tell not show and filled with a lot of unnecessary minutiae.

Interesting premise. Writing so so. Author doesn’t seem to understand what a bastard is. And how the devil did she write this sentence? “The princess’s jaw sagged with fear. She swallowed hard and hastily fixed the necklace on her stiff sister’s neck.” Is there another sister who is floppy? Because that’s the only way this sentence is acceptable in English.
