This is a little boring/slow so far, and the lack of editing is starting to give me eye twitches. Let's see how long I can tolerate all these misplaced commas and word repetitions.

Hmm. Not bad. The beginning drags a little. Kailey's emotions cause whiplash, though some of it is understandable considering what she went through. What's really throwing me off are nuances in her age and maturity. An adult, she works and lives on her own, yet stuffed unicorns cheer her up, and she says things like "stranger-danger" upon meeting someone. o.O?
