There are some cool stories here. So far the best stories are:
Salvage by Orson Scott Card
The People of Sand and Slag by Paolo Bacigalupi
How We Got Into Town and Out Again by Jonathan Lethem
The one by Stephen King was a forgettable throwaway. Bread and Bombs was just dumb and uninteresting, and kept incorrectly using the word “reigns” instead of “reins” for a horse cart.

The opening short story by Stephen King was so good that I’m reluctant to continue listening to the rest. I can only hope that other stories would live up to the expectations.
