still struggling with this. will give it another try before giving up completely.

Not very far in and already this book has head hopped so many times I'm so confused. I think I'll come back to this book when I'm not ill and struggling to read anyway.

slow start but i really like it :)

Now a bomb?!?! SMH...just too much.

The intrigue portion of the story feels like it was added in to give the story bite but it just feels contrived at this point.

This story reminds me of 'As the World Turns' meets 'Misery'.

This story is more about melodrama than intrigue. The misunderstandings and false starts are just banal this far into the story.

I'm really trying to finish this book but it is overly verbose and descriptive. I want to skip over the detail to get to the story.

I understand Evie's matter of speech with her background but all the other characters speak too 'properply'. Most people use lots of contractions in their speaking. The loss (or reduced use) is VERY noticeable. Makes conversations seem drawn out.

*rubs hands in glee* It's getting so good! I can't put this one down!
