I understand Evie's matter of speech with her background but all the other characters speak too 'properply'. Most people use lots of contractions in their speaking. The loss (or reduced use) is VERY noticeable. Makes conversations seem drawn out.

I think not. I'm doing this as a review book and I have to day that I'm really struggling with it.
Hate that...and you feel obliged to finish :( If you are interested, I thought of you today. Im reading some books by Elizabeth Finn that are really good...under 200 pages and hot as hell. Not pnr but eh....
Ooooh...will have to add these to my list. I may need the after recovery.
