this was interesting; it felt like rereading accounts from my childhood of Abrahamic Prophets but through a foggy mirror: some of the details were smudged or just wrong entirely, off by SO much.
it’s also so odd to encounter the source material for judaic scripture and see how casually J chose to portray Yahweh. gone was any reverence i’d have expected from the literal draft of the Torah.
