Why are 30+ single women ALWAYS shown to be pining for babies? Not everyone wants one.

She makes relationship plans over a guy she met twice and who doesn't even want to spend more than an hour a week on her. Ye gods. Why doesn't she do normal dates?

Still at 27% 'Yea. She had her baby, though I didn't know that until she emailed me a few weeks later, after she didn't how up for our third meeting...' (carries n for two pages non-stop) I honestly can't work out if this IS supposed to be Brian or is it Carrie?? Because the next part - which I THINK is Carrie- makes no sense at all.....

Oh god. Formatting all over the place again. And then this: (And this is the guy) 'Like, I would need daisy love, you know, pretty love, sweet love that nonetheless was ubiquitous in roadside ditches in the summertime, and instead I would get orchid love.' (there are no words to express my feelings at that sentence)

I stop walking, my middle suddenly insubstantial.

'Carrier' - is that a typo or deliberate? I am really struggling with this. Carrie reads like a love-sick teenager instead of a woman who must be - what - late 20s at least.

Hmm, Formatting 'off' in places which makes it harder to read. No spaces between 'messages'

This is all over the place. One moment its 4 am and Carrie is in bed and then without a break she seems to be in the teen collections at the library while Shelley is reconciling her circulation report.

eek. I am having to read sentences two or three times to make any sense of them. This is .... florid.

Overwritten, often pretentious prose drawing attention to itself.

Spiteful, selfish, immature.

She just describes lust. What a pity.

The basic idea is pure genius. Unfortunately so far I do not buy Carrie's reactions. At all.
