I sure don't get all the rave reviews. One minute Jake's lusting after some girl, then he's giving someone a tat, then he's being visited by some djinn then in the very next sentence he's 12 years old again and in the mental institution then he's at his mother's then he's visiting Motown at the institution. It's all over the place. I'm not even sure I'll finish this, unless it somehow gets better.

I loved this book...I can't believe I didn't post my review. I read this early in 2014 or late 2013. This book was well-written and has stuck with me ever since I read it. There aren't many books that do that these days since I read so many.
