After a waiter asks the H/h if they are ready to order and the reply is they need a minute. The next sentence is "Nodding, the waited (waiter?????) disappeared being the swinging metal door." Wow, existential!!!! I am mot trying to be bitchy and picky but the editing thus far is terrible!

The minor editorial issues are driving me crazy, "were" instead of "was," "A" instead of "I," "her" instead of "here" Distracting, to say the least. Heroine isn't very impressive at this point either.
