"Yeah, all right, I'm going," Stiles said, getting back up to his feet, grabbing the trash off the ground. He headed back into the cemetery and didn't look back until he reached his mom's grave, and when he turned from that spot, Derek was gone.

"Mom," Stiles said, "That's Derek. He's complicated."

I'm not crying because of this scene, I just have a cold that's all. Shut up.

Still loving this. I don’t even mind that Derek is still a wolf.

This is nicely written, but I feel like its one where I want to have little breaks and read other stuff and then come back to it and read a bit more each time...

Omg this book is super long. I've been reading short stories recently and at this point, the story would have usually been concluded. Not that it's bad or anything, but I'm kinda impatient for the villain to be revealed!

when is Derek finally going to turn back to human? the suspense is killing me!!!

Stiles closed the distance, touching his thumb to Derek's muzzle. "You have mustard right, um--" Derek's tongue curled out, over Stiles's thumb and over the splotch of mustard, and Stiles jerked his hand back with a breathless laugh. "Okay, yeah, there you go." How awesome to use the food on the face cliche when Derek is a beast!

I don't want this to end, so I'm gonna go to sleep (at 2.30am, yay me) and finish it tomorrow and pretend I'm not grinning and rolling over in rainbows and little golden hearts of sugary happiness - and completely unable to calm down enough to actually fall asleep.
But gosh, after the emotional torture this monster put me through? I deserve fluffy joy. (It was the good kind of torture.)

He stood up and grabbed a jacket, and let his dad steer him through the house and out to the car with a hand on the back of his neck; he at least managed to get in without his dad's hand on the top of his head. He'd been twelve years old before he figured out that was a cop thing, not a dad thing.

It's very hard to put this down it's so good. The asthma attack was very well done...it brought back a lot of memories.

The Stiles characterization is bang on. Not so sure about Derek - he's not saying anything (typical Derek) but that's because he's in wolf form. The author has done a great job writing the interactions IMHO!

After three separate recommendations for this story, how could I not read it?
