"I wasn't sending out any signals," Holly protested indignantly. "I was swaying to the music."
"Palm trees sway," Ray corrected. "You were moving your hips in a very inviting way. That creep took you up on the invitation... Next time be more careful."
Are you telling her she can't move back and forth to the music in a nightclub because it gives men ideas and they might force her into something?! Wow.

You just told her you can't abide lying and now two seconds later, YOU'RE lying?! Great motherhood skills there, Martha.

Now I take issue with earning a nursing degree completely on line. Clinical experience is Required to complete the degree. REQUIRED. The fella is in the college business. I know. Just sayin'.

Not gonna find a tall, full Scotch pine in the Big Bend of Texas. Never. Scotch pine is not a native tree, and the natives barely survive on the water they get. Besides, who would plant one to be able to go cut it down??? Too much writing without thinking, without knowing anything about Texas except from movies.

Snowdrifts deep enough to sink in? On a mountain in TEXAS?? No way. No how. We rarely got that much snow up around Amarillo, in the northernmost part of the state. We did get the occasional blizzard in December, but it was mostly blowing snow, not the piling up kind. And it all melted off quickly. The Big Bend is close to 500 miles south of Amarillo.

Also, what the heck kind of tree are they going to cut? A mountain cedar? A pinon pine? That's about all there is, and they don't make good Christmas trees...

Where in blazes is Forever, Texas? The only mountains in the state are in the Transpecos, in the Big Bend area, and it snows so seldom it's more like Never, and certainly not in December. The Big Bend is South of Tucson, Arizona. I do not believe in Ferrarella's Texas.
