Some connections that I can make in this book is that the kid had to move from the country to the city and that's a pretty big change to go through, but on top of that he got into a art school, and it's like a really big one with millions of kids, and when it came the first day he was really surprised. He says " its never easy to just go to school fives days a week" I think that he's gonna have some trouble with that

TEXT to TEXT: I notice that there are some similarities in diary of a wimpy kid and this book, they are both basically a diary turned into story form, they both talk about there middle school life. TEXT to SELF: I noticed that this book is similar to me because I am in middle school too. TEXT to WORLD: I noticed that this is similar to things that happen in real life, like kids going through changes in middle school

The sounds in the book were police sirens. What happened was that his friend gave him a backpack of stolen items, which is why the police sirens were there. The character was probably feeling nervous and confused at the same time as he tried to figure out what was going on. The picture showed the main character out in the open, surrounded by police vehicles outside the museum with onomatopoeia such as WOHN and WOOP.

text to self: It reminds me of a time where I have to present a presentation in front of the class. The character felt nervous which I felt the same way. He also stuttered and I understand how he feels. He also went to the top of the school's roof and dropped water balloons on his enemy. This connects with me by reminding me of a time where I threw a paper ball at someone that was being annoying.

Abhirath Krishnawat
Abhirath Krishnawat is finished
Antagonist: There are many antagonists in this story but I believe the biggest one is Rafe himself. Rafe has been his own rival/enemy , Rafe has been judging himself. The other antagonist is Rafe's situation. As of now in the book Rafe has been put up against misery and suffering because his family was forced to move. Another villain is Matt because he betrayed and exposed Rafe. In conclusion Rafe has many enemies.

QUESTIONS: There are many things that are hidden about Rafe. Readers of this book will question many things. There is one question in the book that nobody knows about which is the location of Rafe's true father. When Rafe was very young his father left him and his family to struggle. Rafe has always wondered when his father would come back or when he would see him again. Rafe always questioned things about his dad.

Static vs Dynamic: Rafe has been through many changes in his life so far. The biggest one is the fact that his stepdad is gone and the fact that his family moved from his hometown after 11 years. Rafe used to be a static character who loved causing chaos and trouble but after he saw the condition his mother was in with the moving he decided to get a new identity and start doing good in school as well as being nicer.

Conflict: The main conflict so far in the book is character vs society and other individuals.Rafe has moved into a new town and has new responsibilities. Rafe has to live with his grandmother because he doesn't have a house anymore. His grandmother is already teasing him and calling his name incorrectly. The other problem is school because he needs to take a interview to for a special school for art and must do good.
