TEXT to TEXT: I notice that there are some similarities in diary of a wimpy kid and this book, they are both basically a diary turned into story form, they both talk about there middle school life. TEXT to SELF: I noticed that this book is similar to me because I am in middle school too. TEXT to WORLD: I noticed that this is similar to things that happen in real life, like kids going through changes in middle school

i think that the inciting incident of my story is that the kid is going to get bullied, because so far in the story he made it into a new art school, and it it very different than any other regular school, like there are millions of students and the school is huge, but anyways when he is going to one of his classes, a classmate tries so pick on him, this makes me infer that he is going to get bullied.

Thus story is about a kid that grew up in a quiet town, but because his mom got a new job opportunities, they were forced to move into the city, meant that he had to go to a new school, he is also a good artist, and there is this art school called cathedral, so he signed up for a interview and surprisingly he got accepted, long story short he ended up getting accepted but since this is a big change it was difficult.

Some connections that I can make in this book is that the kid had to move from the country to the city and that's a pretty big change to go through, but on top of that he got into a art school, and it's like a really big one with millions of kids, and when it came the first day he was really surprised. He says " its never easy to just go to school fives days a week" I think that he's gonna have some trouble with that
