I love Jade being able to hold her own against the brothers and Kara, I really hope her personality never changes

I’ve returned to big bertha. The fae and human party is giving high school beach party like in tsitp but I don’t hate it. I stopped reading because I wanted to save a good chunk of the book for my trip so we’ll see how that goes.

A few chapters into book 2: Prince of Sins and Sorrows. “She’s not your darling…and I suggest you watch the way you speak to my wife” mal is so overprotective I usually hate this trope but he’s so mysterious I love him EEEK

end of book 1: House of Lies and Sorrows. Okay a lot to unpack here BUT overall I liked it. I was flipping page after page wanting to learn more. I do feel like getting to know the characters was a tad rushed. Like I know Jade hates Mal but why? Maybe I’ll find out more as I read, like it’s a puzzle. I know it’s because he’s fae and she’s human, but is that it? The left turns was crazy and kept me hooked!
