Status Updates From A Painting for the Viscount

It's the first book I've read by this author, but this novel should be called Meaningless hugs, I think the characters spend all their time hugging each other for no apparent reason, which doesn't fit the era, however, the plot has captivated me, and I'm enjoying reading it.

I enjoy regency romance, but this book shouldn't be categorized as historical fiction because it contains several historical inaccuracies, but if I simply categorizes it as fiction & romance is off to a good start
