I’m honestly appalled by the lack of research… it’s an arc though, so maybe they fixed all that before publication? I really enjoyed this author’s other books, I don’t understand what’s happening here 😵💫

If it gets as far as an ARC with this, it's hard to think they'll actually fix it. Wouldn't they have beta readers that would have pointed this out!?
