Madari is still the most compelling character (as well as Morvandis) and I am Sad about it given his actions in Powerborn. Why is the only strong, strategic, beautiful man (who is NOT a lovestruck ninny) in this series an unredeemable villain? 😭

What I am finding increasingly irritating about this series is the way the reader is constantly taken into each character's thoughts. It's jarring and not at all subtle. I dislike being spoonfed everything. As a result, I am finding it very easy to be distracted by other things.
