Reading Cox's discussion of Genesis and its multiple authors was reassuring, since I hadn't read it since childhood (and back then I noped out after Noah's Ark), and as an adult have found it to be jumbled, weird, and full of horrible people. Turns out that is IS jumbled, weird, and full of horrible people.

I searched for Bible guides available to me and picked this one because it has 1-star reviews for being “too liberal.”
