Status Updates From Pelican's Landing

Decided to give this a second chance...

I'm liking the story - I've got a soft spot for pregnant women - but the narrator isn't all that great. Some of her voices are taking away from the my enjoyment and I question some of the inflection choices. But it's still better than the text-to-speech app.

Listened to a bit more of Drizzt but needed a bit more of a romance break. Been a tiring week and I'm a bit under the weather so lesfic romance is perfect for a little brain candy.

I'm a sucker for Gerri Hill's novels...
