Also, I just read the blurb ( I usually skip it with authors I love) and apparently it's related to the Fantastic Fluke setting. We will see, for now there has been mentions of human mages and their familiars but I didn't realise it was the same world.

It reads surprisingly fast, considering its normal pace. I'm really enjoying the way of giving information about the world without being a world vomit.
Also Knight is a bit different from Sam's other MC and I'm loving him 🤗
