It’s wild reading this at the same time as “Popular Crime,” and having read things like “In Cold Blood” in the past. Two people can present the same crime in different lights.

I think the weirdest story so far has to be the case of the woman who committed statutory rape of a 12-y-o boy, bore 2 of his kids, and married him when he turned 21. Creepy.

Most of these were deaths but it is interesting to see the route of crimes done through each decade. You had your rights issues in the 60's and Mafia in the 30's. Then there were all the high profile cases in the 90's and up. All TV cases that brought in big money. Sad.
