There has been like one nurse in chapter 32 but no named female characters or any mention of any at all (!!!)

So I started reading this just randomly and I’m just amazed how good this is? The lore is actually pretty deep and the underlying story super engaging. Huh. Stepping out of one’s reading comfort zone sometimes does pay off.

An example of my nitpicking: a chapter had a translator, a translation checker, an editor AND a proofreader, but not a single one of those four people noticed that stairs later turned into a ladder? Smh. Not the author’s fault tho

Typically I’n an insanely nitpicky person, I just can’t handle stuff that doesn’t make sense or has a very weak narrative. So I do NOT understand why am I enjoying this seemingly random series of adventures of a merman and a lion. There are so many stupid things that would normally drive me nuts but here it just… doesn’t matter? I hopw thia feeling will last for all of the 277 chapters LOL

So this is a lovely thing I just read when I want to turn my brain off (as a replacement for mindlessly scrolling social media). Idk if I’ll manage all 4k pages but we shall see.
