Status Updates From Spell of the Ball

I've enjoyed some of the stories more than others. However after reading half the book (3 or 4 short stories), I need a break.

This is very sloppily edited. The very first introduction to the very first story uses the word 'their' instead of 'they're'. It just gets worse from there. Missing words, verb tense mistakes and grammar flubs abound. One story is so poorly written I couldn't bear to read it. I'm frankly shocked, as these writers are better than this. It's as though this was a high school writing assignment published without checking
