i refuse to believe anyone has ever understood this final chapter

cobra was a corpse for a chapter and then suddenly wasn't dead anymore. this book is a lesson in learning to go with the flow for sure

i have no clue what is going on in this second half but man if this isn't an exercise in writing beautiful language. a crazy density of images going on here - there's a lot i can't catch or simply don't have the wherewithal to unpack but i keep reading it because the number of absolutely beautiful sentences is so high. oh wow oh huh

what is there to say except that there are crazy things happening with language here and i'm kind of obsessed
