OMG. So you find your ex shot bleeding out in his home- he gasps get the drugs & papers (cuz he's a drug dealer) you call 911 AND have enough time to go through the house grabbing and stashing things & hide stuff in your car, THEN you go back and "apply" pressure to his bleeding out wounds? While the "murderer" calmly walks out the front door? WTF? I'm sensing a DNF here. I cannot even.....

"Afterward, he sat down on the bed and began to cry." If you can't even drum up enough emotion in your own writing how is the reader supposed to care or empathize or feel sorry for the characters? Christian crying is given the same attention as him brushing his teeth, wtf.

I do not normally read about Dragon shifters. But needed something to read. This was well written, quick story and very interesting. I would recommend it.
