Re read in 2021. Saw I’d given it a 4 star before and couldn’t remember the book so thought I’d re read. But hmmmm for some reason this was just ok? I don’t remember why i loved it so much the first time. But it was an ok book this time around - it was so much shorter than I remember. I do want to go on to book 2 though!

I get v annoyed with books that add no physical descriptions for characters. So far all I know about the main character is that he’s white with freckles on his ass. His partner is Indian with blue eyes and I THINK half white. I have no idea about anyone else

Still don't know if this is comedy or serious crime fighting.
None of the characters make a lasting impression, including the main.
