I'm up to chapter 10... and I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue. It isn't terrible or anything, I also just don't give a fuck. And I'd kinda rather be reading anything else.

Once the doors opened, we ran into Blaine McKlintock and Kent Samson, two of Matthew’s ad executives. Blaine was married to Spencer Cassidy, Slater’s older brother, and Kent was married to Terry Barron, almost royalty in England and Spencer’s best friend.

Crap. People I don't remember from the first 4 books. Oh well, I'm committed now!

Ok, now I know who all these people are! Reading book 5 was a good choice. I really liked it!

Casper had moved on with Slater Cassidy, Dario Ramos’ best friend. Dario was now dating my brother, Tiernan. I closed my eyes and sighed deeply. Casper was engaged to Slater now —after a very rocky beginning, I have to say.

The guy I took a shine to had been with an associate of Casper Kennedy, my late younger brother Mason’s former fiancé.

SPOILER ALERT: so you meet a guy you like, find out he's a prostitute but don't care (that's fine), but then say he can move in with you?!?! And your friends all saw "awwwww" when you kiss him on the cheek after?!? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE THATS INSANE!

I'm pretty sure this scene is straight outta Pretty Woman.

One of my favorite parts in the rent boy trope is the big reveal and dealing with all the emotions that go hand in hand with that. But nearly everyone seems to know about Ryan, I'm assuming from Teirnan's book. I kinda feel like I missed out.

How are they actually losing chemistry as the book goes on?!

These guys really are not as funny as they think they are.

I get that Ryan needs help, but his friends said they'd buy him clothes and whatnot. It's really weird to let a guy you barely know but you stuff, let alone when he also wants to ask you out. Given that Ryan is all worried about the fact that he's a hooker... maybe not the best plan of action.

It's kinda a bummer that I'm missing their first interaction, since it was in a previous book. And it's hard to buy Ryan's friendship with these guys without the background.

Oh yay, apparently this is one of those series that likes to recap all the events from the previous books.
