Status Updates From Scary (Twirled World Ink #3)

This book confused me. So Juvie says she's 12, but then they say she's about the same age as Princess, who's 5... and then they say she'll hit her teens in a year.

Did the author never once checked what they wrote or noted down character information? Did no one else read over this mess?

Did they TRY to write the most cringey book possible, or was it a happy accident?

Scary complains the cops are on his case cause he's gay. It couldn't possibly have to do with the fact that he admits to regular fights in his bar, or the scene earlier where he and Tank knocked out a guy because he was being rude to Elijah?
They don't make a good case for being able to run the bar without resorting to violence.

So, they are essentially threaten rape, right? Cause they are very clear 'no' is not an acceptable answer.
They also just tell him they are dating him, full stop.
I already know this will be exhausting.

Awkward writing. So much pointless swearing, just to show they are rough guys.
Inconsistencies between actions and words (if you do a double-take and literally stare at someone, they are not a hard to read person).
The Mayor is written like a 20 year old, and that's being generous.
The whole plot just feels very shoe-horned in.

Things are switching and moving way too fast

I could've sworn Scary said he was 43 earlier & now they are "approaching 40"? Also...no one warned me about the virgin *frown*
