At this point with Alastair's homophobic family the perfect temporary solution seems like it's staring them in the face. Using Sawyer's background in the armed forces hire him to be Alastair's new security. He'd be expected to be with him 24/7. Problem solved for the moment.

The premise and character ideas are extremely intriguing, and some of the initial banter among friends was very entertaining.

Yet, despite a whorl of interesting ideas - first-time virgin, man with very lacy secrets unveiled, months of yearning for each other - both the relationship chemistry and perhaps the physical intimacy in the first chapter was relatively flat for me, especially compared to the ideas.
