Status Updates From Three: Out of Focus / What ...

This author needs a different adjective other than “slurred”. Rolling my eyes every time I see the word.

An intriguing book drawing on Chinese tradition, memories of the cultural revolution and science fiction.

I wanna read the third book. But not at the moment. I'll read it when I'm not in the mood of something light.
Loved the first book. Done with that one. Putting this on hiatus till then.

Going to skip the second book. It sounds very sad.

Book 2 finished. I liked that it was different but the middle dragged on and on and on and on...I wanted to slap each of them & say "hello! The issues are blatantly obvious!" Then one they each woke up, BAM! Resolution. So, eh (for me).

BDSM is soooo not my kink but I loved the relationship in this first story.

"Hiatus" - Good, maybe includes too much of the tedium stubborn shits cause when they won't seek mental illness treatment, but for anyone confronting such symptoms? Hella informative. Also, SO MANY repeated lines, reiterating for no good reason. Needs editing out. But, I loved the end. So much.

Finished "Out Of Focus" - while bits of this novel were repetitive, the concerns of Jordan as the third to an established couple is, in polyamory circles, a topic just as important as it's laid out in the story. No one wants to feel expendable. Theirs is a true triad, love in all directions. Loved it.
