Now the manga points out that the exposition was stupid, just like letting the boy get away and we get told the girl (a lieutenant) is cute like a cat.... I don't care about this anymore. I have too many other books to read. lets try a story about a girl reincarnated as a spider.

I know that exposition is important but do you have to make it so clumsy? She doesn't know the guy, for all she knows he could be a spy or a trap.

Apparently, Shinjiro the mangaka does not know about the puritanical nature of culture in the US. I highly doubt that an adult female from L.A. would molest a middle school Japanese girl in public, even if the American is apparently an Otaku.
