I really hate cliff hangers but I have to know what happens next!

Does she not realize who the seeker is? Why is she not telling her sister about Grayson?!!! Why is she just acting like things are normal? Or is there a plan she came up with that I don't know about yet?

This is turning out to be really interesting, although this feels like a spin off from another series because there seems to be a lot of backstory that's glossed over.

I'm having fun discovering the magic of the world our heroine lives in. So far I've seen new(ish) twists on witches, mages, vampires, fae and so a type of supernatural body snatcher called a vamanec p'yrin.

The tone leans toward YA humorous romance but the characters are not young adults. The writing is functional but keeps the plot moving.
