So far, she's written as a half-Thai boy in a southern coastal town, a black boy in a small town, an Ecuadoran girl who speaks Spanish and English and a boy who speaks Quechua and Spanish in Central America, and now she's on to a Ukrainian. Geez! (but it's great so far)
