Jesse's Moron Meter has decreased slightly, but only slightly. The stupidity is still huge, and that irritates me.

I like the teens, though. They add a lot to the story.

I'm back in the game! There's currently a KU sale going on, and when I tried to access it before, it said I wasn't eligible, but I tried it again, and it worked this time (I don't know what the difference is). So I'm going to be able to finish this book. Woo!

Such a stupid thing for Jesse to do. I get the inclination to do it, I do. But given the almost certain repercussions, and not to himself? Not worth it.

I think I know how this is going to go. That scene might have well had an 🚨🚨 it was so obvious...but then again, maybe it was a red herring...

If I were a succubus and could feed on sexual auras without even touching, I would find the nearest strip club once a week and just sit there, facing as close as I could to the wall, for a few hours and suck all that sexual energy up.

I was all ready to be pissed about someone doing (or not doing) something and then the book swerved right around the cliche and now i feel kind of happy but also like...i had all this frothy anger building up, what do i do with it now?

So I kinda knew at 27% how this might unfold, but that's totally okay, because it was still edge of my seat until the end. I flew through this, which should tell you a lot about how awesome this book is. Full review in early July.

I can hardly wait for Fletcher's 2nd book. Things are definitely gearing up for a massive showdown in the third trilogy, if I'm interpreting the signs correctly.
