The novellas twin final lines. And I think I love them both, though for different reasons.

So this is R.Cooper's first professional piece of writing. I can already see where their style developed from. That and their fingerprints are all over this.

No, not a direct quote, but it might as well be.
63% & it's just been the two MCs in a tower, talking around their past in a convoluted way that leaves the reader feeling like an outsider. Now a dastardly plot has been revealed... but i'm more interested whether Hart is going to give it up. Come on, man, you've been pining for years & it's done you no good.

Nearly lost my interest in the first 10%.There was far too much convoluted description in the name of world-building, which combined with several editing errors, took some struggling through.
Now we have some dialogue things are improving.
