Well, some of this is really sad. I get there are some depressing aspects to the story but this is worse than the original. Still good but maybe have some tissue when you read it.

Calling this a retelling doesn't do just to it. It's an amplification and a reimagining. I've just finisghed the visit of the Ghost of Christmas Past. I loved how the ghost manifested. I thought the whole thing delivered an emotional punch that was more powerful and more believab,e/relateable than the original story.

This si good fun. A gender inverted Christmas Carol with a steampunk twist.
