- This is what I mean. So petty.

On the one hand it breaks my heart anytime the story shows how damn young Shang Xirui still is, on the other I'm amused at how fucking petty he can be.

He rubbed his belly and groaned. “It feels like I’m six months pregnant.”
Cheng Fengtai nearly choked on his tea. “Don’t worry. I haven’t planted anything yet.”
Shang Xirui stared. “What did you just say?”
