Dang I want me some Rafe in my life.

I typically avoid 3rd person POV but this book has sucked me in.

Well hmmmmm that took an unexpected turn.......

Here is the thing, I am Romanian. The hero, Rafe, is originally from Romania and of course he uses the language. Cat (the h) translates as "pisica" in my language but, and there is a big BUT, it's never used as as an endearment word in this form. So I have a cringe moment each time Rafe uses it 😬.
Dear Sarah, we use kitten (pisoi or pisoiaș).

"Well, I'm ten years younger than you. Let's see what I look like when I'm your age."
"I can't wait to find out."
