Here is the thing, I am Romanian. The hero, Rafe, is originally from Romania and of course he uses the language. Cat (the h) translates as "pisica" in my language but, and there is a big BUT, it's never used as as an endearment word in this form. So I have a cringe moment each time Rafe uses it 😬.
