Status Updates From Several People Are Typing

While taking a book about being stuck in a work slack seems like not the right mindset for my vacation… something all written in instant messaging format is kinda feeling like the perfect airport book I can ditch when I’m done and save room in my suitcase for all the books I’ll want to buy in Dublin

This was entertaining

The whole novel being in Slack messages makes it a quick read but the surreal action is probably better chewed over thoughtfully every so often, which I did a couple times on a walk. I like the format. I’ve never used Slack and it took awhile to get used to it. The emoji convos were at times a little difficult to read as they rendered them as text instead of emoticons. A different kind of mystery.
