What is it with every isekai/time loop light novel and its mother starting with the prince breaking up with the female protagonist?

"Mythical Beasts, who often possessed both useful powers and appealing looks were often hunted to extinction by humans."

Um, what? Why murder creatures that very obviously would be of use to human society? The one that was just introduced can turbo-grow produce, and only asks for a prepared dish made from what it grew, for example.

okay finished. outside one of the final chapters this was a fun read. the setting is sort of fun with a few interesting fantasy creatures. also liked the two side stories focus wise since they fleshed out a bit more of the side cast. curious to read more.

Some nice wolves have been given a good brushing. It's about time!! (the author is very fond of multiple punctuation marks)

Nearly a third of the way through the book, and we are finally on the way to cooking with our fluffy friends, I hope. Just as well, because the politicking in the last chapter was pretty naïve and nonsensical.

This is my third time attempting this one, because the beginning is so very dull. The same _isekai_ setup I've seen many times, even though I haven't read that many of these.

I was promised fluffy friends. Bring them on, please.
