I read a short from this author, but the writing style isn’t the same as what I read previously. I’ll keep up with this, though!! The baby seems like such a cutie

I didn't like the way "sista" was used 😏. It was said like "I need your license and registration vibe.

I don't know why she's so bent out of shape. I know people have protocols but I'm so happy he's standing up to reason. Her position with the city shouldn't mean she gets to break rules. We should consider how we are protecting babies.

I know this is meant to be a meet-not-so-cute but I genuinely am struggling to like the FMC. The way she talked to the nurses and doctor was rude and disrespectful. Then she pulls the "Do you know who I work for?" card, and that rubs me the wrong way. She should be glad that the medical staff was concerned when seeing an abused/neglected baby and doing protocol to keep the baby safe.
