Status Updates From Mail Order Groom

The writing style is strange to me. The word usage is weird. The fmc was thinking about mmc’s 🍆. Then she goes off on talking about 🍆’s and sex. The fmc’s brother is described as gay with long nails and stilettos. But a couple paragraphs later he asks her to watch her nephew. I assumed it was his kid. Hard to believe he would have a kid dressed like a woman and is into men.

The writing is so bad and the mmc catfished FMC and just moved in and he smokes. Gross. I have no connection to them because no info on the relationship prior to him showing up is really explored. Then drama with FMC brother is just annoying and unnecessary

I love it so far. I like how Nina is fully fleshed out. Intact with family interactions and a strong circle of friends. I do wish we had more on Zane. All we get from him, so far, is that he made a stupid mistake when he was 19 and paid a steep price. I really like him and want to know more about him.

This book is so surprisingly good!! Laugh out loud funny. Zane is so sexy. And Nina knows she wants him fr. Loving it so far.
