Started over in this book after my binge reread and I remember now why I didn’t finish it!! Honestly I love these characters and especially also Eli but somehow the vibe, or well the reading experience of this book is COMPLETELY different from the first 4…. Might have to DNF/put it on hold again 😭😭😭

The audiobook for this is hot garbage.

Do new narrators just not care to try and sync their character voices with what's come before?

Anyway, I'm switching to reading the book with my eyeballs.

The way the new narrator is doing Ian's voice makes it sound like he's going to turn into some fucking MONSTER at any moment. How does that even happen? I get not copying the accent Tristan did, BUT WHAT THE FUCK?
