The story itself seemed more like a slow burn vs the fast pace let’s jump each others bones romances that I am used too. Decided I wasn’t going to finish the series until I was awake until 2 in the morning fighting exhaustion to finish the book to see how it ends. So I will be finishing this series.

This was good a light read with a hot blue alien. My only ? is that the author should have talked about black hair more because the alien was a water alien. lol

Either I missed it or it was never explain but how does becoming king work?

There needs to be more world building. Draw us in with the world so we can feel like we’re there. Right now I don’t care if they leave or stay. Tell more about the main female characters. Tell how the world works how a king becomes a king and so on.

At times it seems like a doctor wrote this book with some of the words used.
