Status Updates From Star Wars. Padawan (Lucas F...

I found myself thinking "this sounds like a YA novel" which was a thought I didn't think too much of until I saw 'YA writing'. Is it bad? No. Is it boring? Slightly. Is it painful? Yes.

I intended to treat this as a Star Wars novel, still do, except the writing felt off. Lo and behold, I remember the section I grabbed this in. Will be grabbing Scythe later down the line. My hopes here are dashed. Sorry Episode VI.

I’m enjoying the audiobook narrator for this one. It really does sound like a young Obi-Wan! Fun music and sound effects come standard with any Star Wars book, which helps set the scene. I also find it funny but sad that Obi-Wan is a teenage ball of anxiety. Honestly very relatable.

Not done yet, but Obi-Wan is just me, I fear. We’re one and the same (anxious over-achievers.)
