me so far the whole book: “Wait?! is Amanda Milo from Michigan??”

My biggest pet peeve while reading is when authors write facts that are ridiculous and nonsensical, without there being any need to do so.
Page 93. Susan works in a bar, and the bar's walls are papered with one dollar bills. There's more than one million dollar bills papering the bar the author claims.
This sounds like A LOT and my mind has to be sure I'm not fooled.

Hey! Finn is married in the epilogue and we don't get to here his story? It's too bad she hasn't written anywhere books in this world. Or about these characters.

Describing this as "leaking" is kinda off putting.

Virginal, innocent hero who doesn't magically know exactly what to do.

This dude LOVES dad jokes. A little bit dorky but I'm here for it.

After rereading my Roe Horvat - favorites I needed something totally different, and I definitely found it in this book. The start of the story was a bit rough and I had to get used to a totally different writing style, but after having indulged in Roe Horvat's extraordinary writing style lately, that was to be expected.

The hero is sweet and takes on all sorts of household chores as well as taking care of her kids.

The alpha is a big ol' flirt and while he's caretaking, he also is constantly distracted by all sorts of other women. And the heroine doesn't want that kind of behavior in a partner. He pursues her more than she wants to be pursued.

Fascinating plot cause it doesn't match the usual AT ALL.

Uncontrollable chipmunk chasing is a bit ridiculous.

Chapter 10 we start to see the hero's viewpoint.

I would never put someone who gets carsick in the back seat!

Someone beginning this book might want her to end up with the alpha. And it's kind of amazing that this can start this way and still end up in a way that made me so happy. With her ending up with the submissive werewolf.

Apparently, my audiobook choice will be another reread. I loved this book the first time and now it's an audiobook!
