This was a totally unexpected read. On a whim, I picked it up. Fast, easy read. Enough character building. Thought the world building could have been more detailed but it was good enough anyway. The pacing was nice. Easy to tell it's an HEA, however but I liked it very well.
Might pick up book 2, Blood Promise, at some point.
