A Prairie Home Companion was a weekly event at my house and both my parents loved Garrison Keillor. Now I’m listening to stories about zombie walleye, Ingvar Knutsson drinking coffee in the diner while watching zombies on the news, and some Minnesotans asking questions like “what’s that all about then?”
A delightfully weird homage to Garrison Keillor’s stories of Lake Woebegone.

So this middle section, Twenty-Some-Odd Scenes From the Winter, In No Particular Order, Certainly Not Chronological , does some interesting stuff with a mixed-up narrative, far more clever than anyone writing a low-hanging fruit type of parody like this has any business bothering with. Plus it reminds me of the Simpsons "22 Short Films About Springfield" episode which is a nice bonus.

Truth be told that last Halloween title was about as far as I can go on the Scare-o-Meter. Let's tone down the terror and go with something sillier.
