So this middle section, Twenty-Some-Odd Scenes From the Winter, In No Particular Order, Certainly Not Chronological , does some interesting stuff with a mixed-up narrative, far more clever than anyone writing a low-hanging fruit type of parody like this has any business bothering with. Plus it reminds me of the Simpsons "22 Short Films About Springfield" episode which is a nice bonus.

Truth be told that last Halloween title was about as far as I can go on the Scare-o-Meter. Let's tone down the terror and go with something sillier.

Tom Quinn Michael wrote: "Is Garrison Keillor in this book?"

He makes a cameo as "that odd fellow people called The Narrator, sitting in back with his red bow tie and suspenders and darting eyes, muttering to himself." 🙃
